In the same way insanity is the esoteric form of a spiral and conformity is the esoteric form of a circle.
Think of it in terms of "Platonic Geometry" and "Being".

This is a tricky question that neither pro or con have answered properly.
The Earth is not flat right now, as it is a sphere. Previously, however, it was flat.
Think of the spheres in the seas of our geometrical cosmos as toilet paper. When you roll it up, it becomes a sphere, but when you take it in pieces, you end up with a square.
This is why both are correct. It's both, and that is why "Squaring The Circle" is the Da Vinci Code.
When you understand that our Solar System is no different than origami and pop-out pictures, you will start noticing that our Universe exists in a multitude of states at once.
